Sportsbook Price Differences
Cardinals vs. Giants: A Three-Point Spread Range Converged to One Number
Five sportsbooks spanned three points on the Giants spread at one checkpoint. Four days later, six books shared Giants +2.5 while their attached prices still differed.
What SharpFish observed
At the September 28 checkpoint, five sportsbooks ranged from New York Giants -1.5 to Giants +1.5 for Arizona at New York. At the October 2 checkpoint, six sportsbooks all showed Giants +2.5. This is a comparison of two cross-book snapshots, not a claim about why the market changed.

Governed Cardinals–Giants observations. Spread agreement does not mean price agreement, and the sequence does not establish why books changed.
What changed
The earlier spread range was three points: -1.5 through +1.5 for the same Giants selection. The later spread range was zero because every observed book posted +2.5. The later attached prices still ranged from +100 to -110, so agreement on the spread did not mean agreement on the full quote.
Why the observation matters
A single “consensus line” would hide the earlier favorite disagreement and the later price differences. Reading sportsbook, spread, price and timestamp together preserves what each snapshot actually contained.
What it does not prove
The observations do not establish an official opener, identify who moved the market, prove injury or betting-flow causation, or predict the game result. They show only the governed quotes SharpFish retained at those times.
